I’m Carla Ferry, native of the City of Covington. I currently reside in the historic district with my teenage son and husband.
Covington’s Charm is why so many have moved here in recent years. Covington’s high taxes and utility bills are why some move away. To maintain Covington’s Charm, a balance with a common-sense approach for fiscal responsibility and intelligent growth needs to be struck.
Outrageous tax hikes and increased utility bills are high on my priority list. Many say nothing can be done but I say think outside the box. There has to be a way that citizens can stop being priced out of their own homes.
I love our city and want what’s best for our community. I ask for your vote on November 7th.
